Legal Cashier

We are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier for a highly regarded law firm based in Cheltenham.

The firm provides a modern, friendly and forward-thinking atmosphere and seek to provide an efficient conveyancing service across a broad range of transactions, from dealing with local work in the Cotswolds, through to luxury coastal homes and central London apartments.

You will be an integral part of the Accounts teams in processing the firm’s transactions, including but not limited to:

• Processing of payments and receipts in and out of client account
• Using the firm’s internet banking system
• Bank account reconciliation
• Assisting Fee Earners with accounting queries
• Adhering to Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Liaising with the bank regarding general queries
• Liaising with Suppliers to resolve payment queries
• Assisting the Head of Accounts with all functional activities as appropriate.

They are looking for a bright, professional, team orientated Legal Cashier to join their friendly and supportive team. You will need to possess strong attention to detail, be brilliant with numbers, and be able to work at pace and with volume. they can offer you training but previous Accounts experience is an advantage.
