We are on the lookout for a creative and talented Junior Sous Chef to join our foodie family on a full-time basis.
We care about your life outside of the kitchen and a 39 hour week really is a 39 hour week - there are absolutely no split shifts.
Our award-winning spa delivers exceptional cuisine to roughly 200 guests per day so the ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food!
You will work alongside the Executive Head Chef and Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes
Duties will also include:
- Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
- Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
- Supervising all kitchen sections
- Supervising, motivating and working closely with other Chefs of all levels
- Being responsible for health and safety
- Being responsible for food hygiene practices
- Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
- Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
- Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines

Qualifications and skills required:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in food preparation or professional cookery and Level 2 Hygiene is desirable
Hours of work:
39 hours per week worked on a rota basis between the hours of 6.00 am and 10 pm including some weekends
