Brighton Beach House...
Set on the seafront with views of the pier, Brighton Beach House spans two floors and features Art Deco inspired interiors, a rooftop terrace and a banana shaped pool specially design by artist David Shrigley. The club menu has been specially created for Brighton, with a focus on seafood while the dining room serves Mediterranean inspired dishes. The club also features fitness facilities including free weights, cardio areas, a sauna and steam room.
The Role...As the Junior Sous Chef, your duties will include recruiting and training new employees, adhering to allergy procedure and food preferences as well as working with the Executive and Head Chef on developing new menu options. Working alongside the Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind the food offering making sure it is seasonal, relevant and appealing to our members and guests. You will have an in-depth health and safety knowledge ensuring that standards are kept in line with HACCP.
What we are looking for...- 1-2 years' experience in a busy high-profile kitchen Team player who communicates well with all colleagues Punctual, reliable and trustworthy Sense of urgency Yes, yes, yes mentality Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Have a genuine passion for food and beverage Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required
