Junior Structural Engineer

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced Engineers, contributing to the design and analysis of various Structural projects. Due to our clients continued growth, they are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their reputable Practice to contribute to exciting Healthcare projects. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced Engineers and Technicians on a range of sectors, including, Education, Science, Retail and Heritage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing structural analysis using industry-standard software
• Contribute to the evaluation of design loads and forces
• Support the design team in developing structural plans and details
• Assist in the preparation of construction drawings and specifications
• Participate in site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers in identifying potential issues
• Work closely with the project team, including Architects and other Engineering disciplines
• Collaborate with drafting and modelling teams to produce design documentation
• Actively participate in training and professional development opportunities
• Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and standards
• Review and check design calculations and drawings for accuracy
• Contribute to quality assurance processes within the Engineering team

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working on Healthcare projects
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Knowledge of Structural Engineering principles and analysis methods
• Familiarity with Engineering software tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
