Junior Vehicle Fitter / Technician

VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / VEHICLE PREP/ INTERIOR TRIM REMOVAL; ENTRY LEVEL.

MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE UK. CURRENTLY CAN NOT ACCEPT GRADUATE VISAS AT THIS TIME.

37.5 Hour week 08:45 -17:00 with 45-minute lunch.

Must be enthusiastic, willing to be flexible, and comfortable with different daily ad-hoc tasks. Complete on-the-job training and support provided; previous experience with mechanical fitting, vehicle operations, or similar, is advantageous but not required - an ideal opportunity to learn new skills in a practical setting.

Duties:

• Carry out general installations and part removals on client vehicles
• Carry out trim removal tasks to enable access key content behind trim
• Record basic data for functionality of vehicles and feature content
• To assist in the general housekeeping and maintenance activities
• Driving equipment between sites or collection of goods on occasion
• To support set-up and dismantling of tests
• Carry out audio assessments on the radio and record data
• Seldom mechanical tasks (Supported)

Qualifications:

• No qualifications are required for this position.
• Previous experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic, or strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude beneficial.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
