Junior Young Company Director

We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Youth Theatre Director to direct our Junior Young Company play. The production will be cast from within the group which is a performance based class who work towards a production each year. We expect the successful candidate to ensure that members learn through rehearsal and performance, and to deliver a strongly directed, powerful production that inspires and encourages members.

Hours of Work:

Rehearsals take place between Wednesday 5pm - 6.30pm and Friday 5pm - 7pm from February 2024 to May 2024, with a target of 40 hours of rehearsal in total. Some Wednesday and Friday rehearsals can be extended later if needed. Rehearsal schedule can be requested in advance of application.

Attendance to the Technical and Dress Rehearsals (Sunday 19th May (daytime), Monday 20th May (evening), Tuesday 21st May (evening)

Production meetings and meetings with the G64 core team as required.

Attendance at all performances which will be the week of Monday 20th May
