The Justice Traffic Department plays a pivotal role in the Justice system providing the link between various parts of the Force and external organisations to ensure the smooth and effective management of Traffic cases.
One Part Time (18.5 hours) permanent position has arisen within the Justice Traffic Department. Please note, this is a Part Time position and the salary quoted will be pro rata based on the hours worked per annum.
The successful applicant will be working as part of an administration team within the department. This is an important role, ensuring that administration processes are completed, time scales are complied with and both national & local standard targets are consistently met. Also ensuring legal requirements and Force Policy are adhered to in respect of all traffic files and related matters. Working together as a team is important to this role, however it is also important that you can act independently.
To be a successful applicant you must have the ability to work under pressure to a high degree of accuracy, a natural ability to problem solve whilst using your own initiative, as well as communicate well because you will be dealing with a variety of people for example, HMCTS - court staff, police officers and the public, you must also be competent in the use of computers, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
The Justice Traffic Department has recently been the subject of significant changes brought about by local and national requirements. This is likely to continue and so you will be expected to adapt and change as these arise.

- Clear, colour photos of any non-intimate tattoos
- Formal translation from a reputable source for any foreign language or symbol tattoos
- Any paperwork relating to discharged debts, CCJ, bankruptcy etc
- Deed poll certificate for any name changes
