KDB Developer - Investment Banking - 12 Month Contract

Our client, a London based Investment Bank are looking to hire a Kdb Developer to work on their Cross Asset Algo Trading systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust algorithmic trading systems using KDB technology.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance applications for real-time data processing and analysis.
• Work closely with quants, traders, and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Implement and enhance KDB/Q queries, ensuring efficiency and reliability in large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate on the integration of KDB solutions with other technology stacks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a KDB Developer with a focus on algorithmic trading in an Investment Banking setting.
• Expertise in designing and developing high-performance systems using KDB/Q.
• Strong programming skills in Q, SQL, and familiarity with other programming languages.
• Knowledge of financial markets and algorithmic trading strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with quants, traders, and technology teams.
