As a kennels assistant you will be responsible for the day to day running of the boarding kennels and cattery.
Handling cats and dogs with confidence and care is key. We are a small team who are all passionate about small animals and who take pride in providing excellent care whilst they are staying with us.
Brilliant customer service is also very important to us and the right candidate will be confident and polite.
Daily tasks include feeding, walking and cleaning dogs and their kennels. Feeding cats and cleaning out the cattery area. Administering any animal medication required. Taking bookings and interacting with our wonderful customers via telephone, email and face-to-face.
No experience is required as full training will be provided however a willingness to learn and a passion for animals is essential.
This role requires flexibility across 7 days and includes weekend work.
The position is advertised as 30 hours per week however we will endeavour to offer as many hours as possible to the candidate but this will fluctuate across the year as we are busiest during weekends and school holidays.
