Cezarblue Kennel- Manager/Assistant

We are looking for a kind, caring and responsible applicant to help us with the daily care of our own dogs and puppies. The role will vary dependent on the arrival of litters. Routine schedule will include the feeding, thorough cleaning and walking of our dogs as well as their enrichment activities and daily training. You may also be asked to assist in our home with the arrival of new puppies to include, puppy care, feeding, socialisation and cleaning. Overtime is also available on busy client days and events. This is optional, however some weekend days will be required within the job role. We are based on a 100 acre stud farm with our own facilities for exercising and caring for our dogs and horses. We also have direct access onto blackheath and surrounding areas for great walking options. We hold regular training clinics & seminars which you will also be invited to be involved in and learn more about how we train. We also provide ongoing support and training to existing clients so you may be asked to assist during training sessions. We regularly take our dogs off site in our fully equipped dog van, including swimming, training and for other enrichment activities as well as veterinary trips. It's important the candidate show kindness, patience and also initiative when dealing with our animals and be able to read behaviour and be a good pack leader when working with our larger dogs. Training in all management, care and handling will be provided and opportunity to learn and progress in different areas of care, dog behaviour and higher level obedience & protection work with our Doberman’s. Please only apply if you have EXPERIENCE with larger breeds and previous canine rolls on your CV. We use both balanced and reward based training for our working dogs. Quarterly and performance based bonus scheme in place. We have the option for part time hours as well as full time for a successful candidate. You will be very much welcomed and supported into our family provided they are reliable and hardworking and able to offer a high level of care to our dogs and puppies. We expect high standards of cleaning, care and reliability.

Salary: Starting From £18,000.00 per year
PAYE & PENSION SCHEME. Paid Holiday and performance based bonus system.
