SalaryCloud 9 are currently working on a fantastic opportunity for an award-winning innovative packaging solutions company in Scotland who are looking to appoint a Key Account Manager. In your new role you will be responsible for managing and developing an existing portfolio of accounts whilst sourcing and winning new business ensuring profitable growth and sales targets are met. Key Responsibilities
Manage, build, and develop a portfolio of existing accounts to agreed targets.
Identify, develop, and maximise new business opportunities.
Conduct regular business reviews with lead personnel in each customer.
Work within agreed company KPIs.
Conduct regular updates on sales targets, trading performance and market dynamics to the Commercial Manager.
Increase the share of packaging spend in each customer through sales data analysis.
Identify changes in order patterns through sales data analysis and create plans to remedy any decrease.
Maintain and regularly update new business opportunity pipelines.
Ensure customer service levels and retention are at their highest by working closely with the customer service team.
Travel to customers and other locations as and when required.
Adhere to company policies and procedures and always display the core values of the company.
Skills and Experience
Experience working in the packaging industry, experience in corrugate sales would be of benefit.
Proven track record of account management and new business experience.
Commercially astute
Excellent computer skills; Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Excellent time management: ability to plan own day to day work schedule.
A multitasker with ability to prioritize.
Excellent communication skills on all levels.
Excellent presentation skills.
Problem solver.
Progressive in nature; adaptable and flexible.
Team player with ability to work independently.
