Key Account Manager – Intensive Care – London/Kent/Surrey/Sussex
Our client is a European pioneer specialising in the research of rare disorders and critical care conditions, and develops, produces, and markets innovative solutions designed to combat them. They are dedicated to developing personalised treatments for patients with rare conditions.
With a strong product pipeline with several upcoming product launches and is recruiting for a Key Account Managers at the location shown.
You will be responsible for implementation of all defined business activities according to target group management, as well as the establishment of networks within the assigned cardiology and critical care therapeutic areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop deep specialist product and disease state knowledge and leverage this to build professional customer relationships and support clinical discussions across key target areas such as acute cardiology, critical care and post cardiac surgical units
- Develop and execute Key Account Business and Implementation Plans that are aligned to the strategy for the brand and that drive successful achievement of the territory key deliverables and sales targets
- Identify, develop relationships& mobilise KOLs and brand advocates within the healthcare environment, leading to clear and differentiated access for the brand
- Develop and take responsibility for successful formulary applications ensuring that they lead to optimised access in line with the company strategy and are achieved in a timely matter
- Proactively identify service barriers that hinder the prescribing of innovative medicines and propose service solutions to overcome these
Experience required:
- ABPI qualification with significant experience of engaging with customers in biotech/pharmaceuticals industry
- Documented track record in developing, delivering, and implementing local reimbursement, service optimisation, and patient access strategies
- Experience of Local Funding and Formulary Inclusion prior to NICE approval
- Demonstrate consistently outstanding interpersonal skills, driving growth and delivering value to customers through customer focused brand solutions
- Flexible thinking and oriented to continuous improvement and driving changes across cross functional stakeholders
- Pre-launch & launch experience in cardiology hospital sales, critical care or intensive anaesthetics a huge plus
- Understanding of the Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapy area desirable
- Experience generating new business leads for early access
- Clearly capable of developing relationships with KOLs & Health Economy Influencers
