Role - Key Account Manager

My client offers a versatile, energy efficient product range using the latest LED and fluorescent technologies, allowing them to create unique and bespoke solutions suitable for any number of applications. Focusing on developing business within the Industrial, Distribution, Rail and Food Production sectors they require an outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join their dynamic team.
Main duties & Responsibilities.
- In general terms to promote the purchase of my clients products and to create the demand for those products and services from end users, developers, builders, consultants and electrical contractors.
- To help maintain and grow our existing relationships using your lighting knowledge and understanding of the clients lighting requirements to help maximise our turnover.
- To act as a first point of contact for a selection of allocated accounts, visiting sites as and when required to problem solve, oversee trial installations, carry out lighting designs and undertake site surveys. As an account based position this could include travel throughout the UK.
- Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
- Follow the requirements of the Company’s ISO Procedure.
- Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.
Post Requirements.
- Dialux or Relux experience or a Lighting Design Qualification
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Lighting knowledge, preferably in my clients targeted market sectors
- Understanding of lighting schemes and controls
- Ability to manage a project from conception to conclusion
- Ability to sell at all levels
- Good attitude and ability to self-motivate
- Flexible approach to working
- Geographical knowledge of Country
