The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the sales and profit targets through successful implementation of the strategic plan in hospitals. This will involve identifying opportunities within the Unlicensed Medicines portfolio, both new and existing products, to grow the business.

Job Overview:
- Develop and implement targeted and tactical sales plans, focused on both the existing business accounts and new market opportunities that will achieve growth objectives.
- Ensure achievement of sales and profit plans and targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Focus and develop the sales and customer service activities to become the preferred supplier across the NHS.
- Educate, inform, and share information with colleagues to ensure the business becomes an expert in the field of Unlicensed Medicines.
- Maintain and update customer database, ensuring accurate business records, and communicating effectively, sharing account information to support business growth.
- Represent the company at trade conferences and industry events.
To be successful:
- Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
- 2 years’ Key Account Management experience in wholesaler pharmaceutical role in the NHS.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical sales process and regulatory requirements around unlicensed medicines.
- ABPI qualified.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Solid business acumen and clinical knowledge.
- Flexibility to travel both within and outside of the UK as required.
- Fully IT literate: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
