What we offer: Your Career Entry Point

Our 18-month Kickstarter Procurement Renewablesis designed for you to get in-depth business insights, build up your own international network and bring your knowledge into diverse projects. We have a clear focus on providing you with a general overview on supply chain and procurement strategies as well as processes within RWE Offshore Wind. This is the perfect basis for your future career in procurement.

During the programme, you will have the opportunity to do three rotations in different procurement functions of the organisation to get a full picture from day-to-day purchasing activities to specific category strategies or transformation & process related procurement topics. Just to mention some examples of teams and areas you can explore:

  • Offshore Procurement Development, Construction and Operations & Maintenance
  • Category Procurement Wind Turbines, Electricals, Vessels and Foundations
  • Indirect & IT Procurement
  • Procurement Sustainability & Supply Chain Strategy topics
  • Procurement Transformation, Process, Excellence and Compliance topics

Besides, you will have the opportunity to stay 6 months abroad – outside of your start country.

During your time in the programme, you will be supported by a Mentor and your development will be further accelerated via trainings, Peer-Coaching, etc.

Who we are looking for: Talents shaping the energy transition

  • By September 2024 you will have completed your bachelor's or master's degree in the field of supply chain management, business administration ideally with focus on renewable energy, natural or engineering sciences, with an affinity for procurement/supply chain, achieving above average results
  • Moreover, you score points with first working experience (internship or working student experience) in ideally large organisations and a basic understanding of business and economic relations
  • Everyone can feel your enthusiasm for renewable energy and your desire to be an engaged part of the energy revolution
  • You convince us with your advanced reasoning skills for complex problem solving, combined with a strategic and forward-thinking mindset
  • Curiosity, openness towards change and the self-believe to question the status quo are the right words to describe you
  • You are motivated to take initiative and to promote your own ideas as well as concepts. Your degree of self-reliance is high
  • You able to interact and connect in cross-cultural teams, with a sense for diversity and inclusion
  • You have very good oral and written business English skills, other European languages are a welcome plus
