Kitchen Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary team in meal preparation and ensuring a smooth operation in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food and a desire to gain experience in the culinary industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Help with meal assembly and plating under the guidance of the culinary team
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of ingredients
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- Support the culinary team during catering events or special functions
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

This is a part time position approx 3 -4 days per week & includes every Saturday and Sunday

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £7.50-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
