We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our iconic Kitchen team.

As a Kitchen Assistant at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that all fridges within the MOLON kitchen are cleaned and well maintained, in line with Food Health & Safety standards and guidelines.
• Ensuring kitchen cleaning rota is adhered to at all times.
• Assisting with incoming deliveries and working closely with the Kitchen Administrator.
• Working closely with the Food Hygiene Managers to ensure food stock is rotated as per guidelines.
• Reporting to the kitchen administrator or Chef in charge at end of shift for a final check-off of completed duties.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be working Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm, however weekend work may be required as per the business needs, so flexibility is required where applicable.

To be a successful Kitchen Assistant candidate, you must have had worked in a kitchen environment previously, be familiar with fridge maintenance and stock rotation. You will have the ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment and work alongside multiple personalities. You will have good communication skills, attention to detail and flexibility.
