As a Kitchen Assistant with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and will play a key role in our catering operation, assisting with the preparation and service of food while keeping an excellent standard of cleanliness and safety.

The Role
- Support the senior team to deliver the Campus food strategy
- Assist with food preparation, & general cleaning of food production areas
- Oversee the standard and quality of all food & drink you prepare and serve; you are responsible for ensuring the items that you prepare are to spec, and have the “wow” factor
- To work alongside other work streams, e.g. the Curated Experience team to deliver events and experiences that are literally the talk of the Campus and the town
- Keep your ear close to the ground! Tell us what the customer wants and how we keep our clients happy and coming back
- To be audit ready at all times and achieve the highest possible standard, e.g. finance, HS, FS, internal inspections, etc.
- Attend daily service briefings.
- To drive a ‘One Team’ Culture, provision of an integrated service.
About You
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Catering experience is preferred - but a positive, can-do attitude is essential
- Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene
- You can follow instructions but are not scared to make your own decisions for what's best for the customer
- Making sure the customer come first, ensuring their experience is an exceptional one one
- A determined team player who works well with others
