Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the culinary industry to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties:
- Assist in meal preparation
- Follow instructions provided by staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and washing up
- Support operations by helping with food preparation
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £9.85-£10.22 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
