An exciting opportunity has arisen for Experienced Kitchen Manager to join a new concept restaurant company in the Kingston areas. The restaurant offers wholesome food with regular menu changes. The client and is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere. They are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Chef who can deliver the highest levels of quality food their regular customers. They are looking for like-minded individuals who have worked in similar restaurants or pubs with experience at Kitchen Manager/Head Chef level to join their team on a permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for cooking with fresh ingredients
• A leader not a boss
• Must have wok experience
• A creative flair
• Managing a team of 8
• Used to working in a high volume environment
• Likes to train and develop others
• Must be able to deal with daily/weekly and seasonal menu changes
• Likes to be hands on and lead the team from the front
• Experience with GP, costing, wastage management, ordering, stock etc..
• Strong health & safety knowledge
• A stable work history
