Kitchen Porter– Lisburn
Excel Recruitment is looking for a Kitchen porterto join its team in Lisburn for part time temporary work and an immediate start.
An ideal candidate for this Kitchen Porter job will have good communication and customer service skills; would be able to work on own initiative and as part of the team; have a good level of spoken English and be flexible and physically fit.
Requirements of a Kitchen porter:
- For this role own the candidate must have own transportation as location is off transport routes
- Previous experience desirable but not necessary
- Good communication skills – good level of spoken English
- Good organizational skills and ability to work as an individual
Responsibilities of a Kitchen porter:
- Ensure timely and efficient washing of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Ensuring the storeroom remains clean and organized at all times
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, contributing to a safe working environment
- To assist chefs in their day-to-day operations, including food preparation, if needed
- Ensuring that at the end of each shift, the kitchen is ready for the next shift
- Being prepared to carry out any additional duties as they are needed
