Quarter are looking for a reliable, fun and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our team at Pizza on the Park. This position offers 30 hours per week over 4 shifts, and we are looking for someone who has good weekday availability with flexibility to work morning shifts (from around 10:30am), evening shifts (from 5pm) as well as weekends. You will be working in a recently refurbished kitchen with an excellent, supportive and friendly team (from back of house to front of house!).

Offering stunning Neapolitan style pizzas as well as other authentic Italian dishes in a recently renovated, bright and beautiful space filled with art and greenery, Pizza on the Park is the place to be on Park Street for the best pizza in Bristol (if we say so ourselves).
This would be an ideal position for someone looking to progress into a chef role - our kitchens have an excellent history of developing their team members. Our venues have very friendly, supportive teams - it's a great environment to work in! We will also happily consider those who would rather settle into a secure, long-term Kitchen Porter role and who aren't so interested in progression.
Details of the Kitchen Porter role:
- Based at Pizza on the Park in Clifton, Bristol
- 30+ hours per week (usually worked over 4 shifts per week)
- From £10.50 - £11.50 per hour plus a share of the service charge at the venue
What will you be doing as Kitchen Porter?
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in line with Environmental Health standards (training will be provided)
- Washing up, cleaning all plates, pans and other items (all units have catering dishwashers)
- Putting away orders using good stock rotation practices
- Removing recycling and general waste to outdoor bins
Our ideal Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter:
- May have had some prior experience in a similar role - but this is not required as full training will be offered
- Will have good availability across the week - able to work daytime or evening shifts on a rota basis to include weekends
- Will be a hard worker and comfortable in a fast paced environment
- Will be a friendly and fun member of the team - willing to get stuck in!
- Will be reliable and committed to supporting the venues they are working in

Interview process:
Successful applicants will be contacted by email in the first instance. You will then have a short telephone interview followed by a final round trial shift / interview with the Head or Sous Chef at the restaurant.
