Job description

Salary: £40,000 to £42,000 per annum

Location: Based at our office in Harlow, Essex 3 days a week (2 days WFH).

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintaining our knowledge base content register ensuring adherence to governance and version controls.
  • Manage, maintain, and evolve the Charitable Operations knowledge base to ensure all content is fit for purpose, has a RACI and is kept up to date using a structured review process.
  • Work with the accountable content owners to ensure support material is updated in as per agreed SLA's (Service Level Agreements).
  • Work with our communications teams to make sure that knowledge base content reflects the company branding and tone of voice and is suitable for internal and external consumption.
  • Maintaining and evolving the Charitable Operations intranet page, ensuring content is engaging, informative and relevant for all Charitable Operations staff.
  • Maintain department specific 'breaking news' communications, providing staff with access to up-to-date information which will support their decision making and enhance the beneficiary experience.
  • Manage the Charitable Operations ticketing system and inbox, making sure that queries are actioned as per agreed SLAs.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for other knowledge sharing tools used within Charitable Operations such as collaboration software.
  • Deliver reports that will enable key stakeholders to understand how knowledge information is being served / accessed and where knowledge gaps may exist.
  • Attending various meetings to input, gather feedback or deliver new ways of working.
  • Design process guides to ensure all BAU activity is documented.
  • Supporting various projects where the focus is on sharing knowledge, process and information.

About you:

Must haves:

  • Experience within a team management role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail, a quick learner with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Previously administered a knowledge management system.
  • Proactive and able to work alone.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience of working with digital channels such as Zendesk and web chat.
  • Previous experience working within a Contact Centre or Customer Service environment.
  • As our knowledge base is constantly evolving Project Management skills would be a huge benefit.

At Motability Foundation we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. We oversee the Motability Foundation Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year.
