Senior Account Manager

Senior Account Manager required on a 12 month maternity contract for our Colchester based client who have a strong and loyal team needing someone with experience gained in digital agency dealing with high profile clients. As Senior Account Manager part of your role will focus on the success of clients through digital channels and campaigns where you will be tasked with the strategic growth of key accounts through the development of professional relationships. To be successful in the role of Senior Account Manager (Maternity Cover) you’’ draw on your experience of digital marketing, gained within a Marketing Agency environment, have excellent communication skills and digital marketing channels.

  The Role

• Strategic oversight of key accounts 
• Growing and maximising commercial value from current and potential accounts 
• Managing (and owning) senior client relationships.
• Campaign and media planning.
• Managing risk and opportunity.
• Account performance, client relations and ongoing expansion of the account.
• Presenting performance back to the client in review sessions.
• The production of appropriate project or campaign documentation (terms and conditions, schedule of works, payment schedules, production schedules, meeting agendas and minutes as required).
• Attending Account Review meetings providing feedback on the opportunities and risks on their assigned accounts.
• Updating the CRM to include the relevant sales information allowing the appropriate reports to be produced.
• Attending pitches, client meetings and workshops as required.

The Person

• It is essential to possess previous experience working within a digital agency environment at a senior level
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Essential experience of Digital Marketing, gained in an agency environment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Previous experience of managing multiple campaigns successfully.
• Proven experience in the production of both commercial and project documentation (terms and conditions, statements of work, schedule of works, project plans, meeting minutes, agendas, etc).
