KS1 & KS2 Teachers
Now Education are looking for a KS1 and a KS2 Teacher for a primary school in West Bridgford Nottingham on a temporary basis. You will work in a welcoming community and a highly motivated, professional staff team that are driven towards continuously raising standards.
You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners. You will be responsible for educating students in various subjects while fostering their social, emotional, and intellectual growth. You must:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent (ECTs welcome).
- Have relevant teaching experience with KS1 or KS2.
- Have a strong understanding and knowledge of the KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
- Have outstanding behaviour management.
- Have a passion for education.
- Be able to apply for an Enhanced DBS or have a DBS certificate on the update service.
You must have the ability to effectively:
- Create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Build rapport and positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Plan, prepare and deliver the KS1 or KS2 Curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject that you teach.
- Assess and record the progress of pupils’ learning to inform next steps and monitor progress.
- Teach using a wide range of teaching strategies to meet differing learning styles.
- Demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities and use a variety of strategies and practices to promote the diverse cultural and equality issues in the classroom.
- Use a variety of inclusive strategies to maximise achievement for all children.
- Encourage children in developing self-esteem and respect for others.
- Successfully use a wide range of effective behaviour management strategies.
- Be a positive role model in terms of behaviour, work and attitudes.
- Use an appropriate range of observation and assessment for learning.
