Position Overview: The school are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their talented team in September 2024. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, teaching a diverse and engaging curriculum to their curious and motivated children,
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students in KS1.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and motivated to learn.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to support the diverse learning needs of students.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events to contribute to the school’s ongoing development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS1.
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a stimulating learning environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
