Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Key Stage 1 students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and independent thinking.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative learning community.
• Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and targeted support for improvement.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain curriculum consistency and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies that promote a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Encourage the development of literacy and numeracy skills through engaging activities and differentiated instruction.
• Organize and participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching Key Stage 1.
• Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective pedagogical approaches.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and structured learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with young children, parents, and colleagues.
