Job Title:KS2 Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full Time, 5 Days a week
Salary: £75 - £85
Here at Reed we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team to work with multiple primary schools in and around Doncaster. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support the educational and personal development of children in Key Stage 2, helping them to achieve their potential and develop their skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to children in Key Stage 2.
- Work with small groups or individual children, providing tailored support and guidance as needed.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, where children feel safe, supported and valued.
- Monitor and track children's progress and provide feedback to the class teacher on a regular basis.
- Assist in the preparation of learning resources and materials and help to keep the classroom tidy and organised.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues, and communicate effectively with them.
- Follow the school's policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in education, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience of working with children in Key Stage 2, and a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude, and a commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability, and the willingness to undertake additional training and development as required.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
