Your new role
We are looking for a Maths teacher to impart their knowledge and help schools in the Taunton area. There will be a mixture of pre planned and planning & marking your own lessons. You will be working proactively with other members of the department and teaching all key stages, mainly GCSE. Strong behaviour management is absolutely paramount.
What you'll need to succeed
The schools that we are acting on behalf of are looking for a kind, approachable individual, who can show excellent organisational skills, be assertive, and must at least 1 year experienced working in secondary schools in the UK, ideal having a QTS, ECT's are welcome to apply. • Confidence in teaching GCSE • A commitment to 'getting involved' in overall school life • Strong behaviour management • A solid understanding of the UK curriculum A successfully candidate is someone with strong subject knowledge and a teacher that is a breath of fresh air. Someone who can engage their students in their learning but also push them to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom.
