Job Description: We are currently seeking a Level 2 Nursery Nurse to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the care and education of children aged 0-5 years. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development, as the candidate will have the chance to work towards a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities and experiences.
- Supporting children's development through observation, assessment, and individualized planning.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE Level 2 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
- Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to undertake further training and work towards a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position, with hours varying and open to discussion.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, with the possibility of a 4-day week arrangement.
