Job Purpose
Our Laboratory Technicians are kept busy with daily tasks including commissioning and maintenance of equipment, and receipt of consumables and reagents. Key Responsibilities
- Performing routine Laboratory functions to support scientific experiments and investigations
- Preparation of Media and reagents
- Maintenance of quality control in compliance with quality systems
- Calibration and maintenance of equipment eg. Pipettes, Incubators, Waterbaths etc.
- Ensuring adherence to all SOPs and regulatory guidance
- Identification and escalation of any sources of non-compliance to the Laboratory Manager
- Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced
- Keep equipment in a clean and serviceable condition and ensure the safe removal of waste.
- Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and adequate checks

This is a full time (39 hours) role which will require flexibility from the post-holder to work across 7 days per week.
