As a Lab Technician, you will perform chemical analysis on a variety of environmental and production sample types through wet chemical techniques or by using lab instrumentation.
To give you an idea of how this Lab Technician role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:
- Perform chemical analysis on various environmental and production sample types through wet chemical techniques or by using lab instrumentation
- Be familiar with operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation, including X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy, Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy and pH meter
- Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation and prepare reagents and standards
- Perform data analysis and prepare reports for internal and external customers

- Three to five years of laboratory experience preferred
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Windows
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Keen to continue to improve understanding and knowledge of plant operations/Group strategies to contribute towards the organisation
