MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Laboratory Manager to join a busy site in Lincoln.
Our client is a leading business within the agricultural and renewable energy industry, looking for a Laboratory Manager to join their team.
As the Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overall running of a small laboratory ensuring full site compliance
- Supervising a team of laboratory staff and manage performance and training
- Conducting routine analysis and providing reports
- Carrying out chemical analysis of customer samples
- Ensuring onsite equipment is maintained
- Establish new laboratory procedures
- Developing new products in the lab
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Proven experience in a laboratory/testing role
- A chemical/science qualification is desirable
- Previous experience in an industrial or production environment is advantageous but not essential
- Managerial/supervisory experience is preferred, but senior lab technicians will also be considered for the role
- A full UK driving licence
