As a Laboratory Quality Engineer, you will support all metrology and calibration activities undertaken in the client's quality laboratory. You will also ensure the safe running condition of all QA lab equipment and ensure everyone is abiding to safe working practices. Please note that this position requires the ability to provide documentation for measurement reports and sign off on other reports.
In your first few weeks in this Laboratory Quality Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Lead improvement activities based on data from test equipment
- Maintain 5S standards within all areas under your control and drive continuous improvement
- Take an active role in lab strategy development and deployment
To apply for this Laboratory Quality Engineer role, you will need detailed knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and familiarity with Poly Worx software. You will also require:
- Proficiency in using Mcosmos software with bridge type CMM
- Practical abilities with set-up and operation of metrology equipment in the following fields: Dimensional
- CMM; orthogonal bridge type and arm type
- Mitutoyo - programming
- Photometry, electronics, vibration equipment and sound analysis
