SalaryAs Laboratory Specialist you will support the operational business areas through a combination of destructive and non-destructive testing methods as well as chemical analysis to ensure conforming product throughout all stages of the build cycle.
Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical testing methods (tensile, fatigue, sheer...).
- Perform material testing and special incoming testing's (hardness, electrical conductivity, spectroscopy and peeling).
- Support failure analysis in case of customer irritations.
- Support external laboratories qualification and observation.
- Perform chemical analysis (XRF, ICP, IC, FTIR...).
Requirements
- You will have experience of materials and chemical analysis in an industry where process, safety & governance is highly scrutinised.
- Degree educated with a background in engineering would be preferred.
