Your Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, verification, and validation of test methods
- Assist in the trial and validation of new technology and equipment
- Write scientific reports, including the statistical analysis of data
- Complete training in laboratory procedures
- Present the findings of projects to stakeholders
- Accompany the Company Microbiologist to relevant meetings, audits, and industry events
- Organise and plan projects to ensure completion within target deadlines
- Work with the laboratory team to ensure laboratory standards and accreditation is maintained
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy and precision
- IT literate with good level of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with colleagues throughout all levels of the organisation
- Curiosity in the field of probiotics with the desire to enhance knowledge
- Affinity for problem-solving and innovation
- Driven and self-motivated
- Studying for a Microbiology Degree, or other degree where microbiology forms part of the curriculum
