Alfred H Knight Energy Services have an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join the team in Dundonald. The Laboratory Technician is responsible for carrying out analytical methods and standard operating practices without supervision to a high degree of precision and accuracy, ensuring that an effective and high-quality analytical service is provided to meet reporting deadlines on the various types of samples & commodities.

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Good numeracy skills.
- IT skills - Microsoft and Google applications.
- Highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of quality in an analytical setting.
- Easily adaptable to change and works well unsupervised under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- HNC or HND in Science related subject or equivalent as a minimum.
- Science degree preferable.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 06.30am - 14:30pm. There will be a requirement to move to a later shift pattern once training is complete.
