Laboratory Technician 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful manufacturing business who are seeking a Lab Technician with experience of working in a laboratory within either the manufacturing, medical or environmental environment.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will join the team in lab testing, process control testing and process assurance activities whilst working to health and safety standards. An understanding of contractor control, energy efficiency and lean continuous improvement would be advantageous.

Basic salary £25,000 working 4-day week - Monday to Thursday, plus excellent benefits, and career development

Duties

• You will perform multiple types of process control tests including preparing samples, recording results, and making declarations based on the test.
• Undertake basic calibration work with the ability to administer the subcontract calibration requirements
• You will conduct multiple assurance verifications related to performance of manufacturing equipment and manufacturing environments.
• Contribute to the analysis of technical issues and other investigatory processes.
• Ensure the discipline of lab standards and company expectations are followed and met
• You will play an integral part in ensuring an effective quality management system are  adhered and ensure all requirements are communicated and complied with in each area
