Labour & Employee Relations Director; UK & Ireland (m/f/d)

What you’ll do:
Accountable for the labour and Employee Relations strategy in UK & Ireland
Provide strategic advice and day to day practical support on all matters related to employment and labour and Employee Relations, including but not limited to:
disciplinaries, grievances, investigations
performance
absence
Restructuring, redundancies and reorganisations
TUPE
M&A activity
Senior contracts
Restrictive covenants
Policies & Processes
Provide strategic advice and day to day practical support on all matters related to Unions & Employee Consultative Groups in UK & Ireland including preparing for and leading the information, consultation and negotiation with the Unions and Employee Consultative Groups in partnership with the relevant HR Manager
Maintain a trusting cooperation with the Unions and Employee Consultative Groups
Provide legal advice and clear interpretation of HR Policy, Labour Law and Collective Bargaining laws
Consult and manage outside legal counsel per governance framework
Who you are:
Proven labour and Employee Relations experience over a significant period in a large multinational / international environment/ matrix organization
Qualification in law from an accredited university or college
Sound experience in working & building relationships with works councils / unions
Experience with project management, change management as well as stakeholder management
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
European Works Councils
