Are you a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Advisor looking for a new challenge? Our client is seeking an exceptional candidate to support the successful delivery, embedding, and engagement of our learning, development, and succession planning activity across the company.
As a Learning and Development Advisor, you will advise and support our senior leaders and people leaders to help build organisational and individual capability. You will help shape behaviours and structures that contribute to our purpose of achieving a sustainable future. Driving and supporting a high-performance culture that reinforces our clients way of working.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with key individuals in the wider HR team to design and deliver an effective L&D approach
  • Supporting the performance development cycle, providing appropriate communication, guidance, and insights reporting
  • Supporting further development and embedding of our core and leadership behavioural frameworks
  • Conducting learning needs analyses and measuring the quality, impact, and effectiveness of L&D activities
  • Working with senior leaders and key stakeholders to identify learning needs, skills development and professional development requirements.
  • Actively collaborating across the wider HR teams and with L&D colleagues to scope, design, commission, plan and deliver learning solutions to support the needs of the business.


The ideal candidate will have experience of a similar role within a busy HR department, knowledge and skills in creating career pathways aligned to job families and behavioural frameworks, and current knowledge of effective learning and development methodologies and best practice trends.
If you are a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, strong organisational and project planning skills, and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, we want to hear from you.
This is a full-time permanent post (38.75 hours per week). The position will be based in Stirling, with remote working options available (2 days in office), and reports to the Training Compliance & Development Manager.
