Job description

Due to rapid growth in our Direct To Consumer (DTC) business, we are looking for an Ecommerce Merchandise Planning Lead, Apparel and Accessories, to both shape the Ecommerce product strategy and execute planning for these two categories across the AMERICAS region.
You will work on the AMERICAS DTC Ecommerce team, in a uniquely cross-functional environment where you will have a high level of autonomy-we make ideas happen fast while at the same time developing strategies and implementing processes to ensure we are creating a plan for durable growth. You will have the opportunity to both pivot quickly and shape the long-term vision of the team.
Merchandising is a blend of art and science: your role will be to balance quantitative against qualitative insights to plan and continually optimize the apparel and accessories categories against financial goals. You will influence the present and future ECommerce product strategy based on a variety of factors, including market insights, sell through data, wholesale feedback and marketing campaigns, as well as owning analysis and insights and flagging potential risks and opportunities to cross-functional stakeholders. You'll champion a holistic approach to planning the ECommerce apparel and accessories business, considering all channels (DTC retail and wholesale) within the Oniverse, leveraging all of the available digital tools in order to optimize sell-through efficiency. You will have to be nimble as we continue to build out the AMERICAS DTC ECommerce team, remaining curious and staying involved in the end-to-end product lifecycle.
Your Mission
- Own the Ecommerce seasonal buys for apparel and accessories and define the product mix for the AMERICAS region, leveraging insights from historical data, market trends, product, business development and the wholesale business.
- Partner with Demand Planning ahead of purchase orders to make rolling adjustments based on actual and projected sell through performance.
- Work closely with sales enablement to uncover risks and opportunities across the product portfolio.
- Partner with online visual merchandisers and the overall AMERICAS DTC ECommerce team to make key recommendations and influence the product presentation onsite and in marketing channels.
- Seek ways to improve processes, tooling and collaboration with global and regional counterparts.
Your Story
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Merchandise Planning, Sales Planning, Demand Planning, or buying, ideally within a DTC or E-commerce landscape.
- Innate understanding of digital customer behavior, product lifecycle, market trends, and how seasonality can impact product portfolio efficiency.
Analytical mindset with the ability to cut through large data sets.
- Able to multitask, work at pace and adapt to change.
- Approach challenges and navigate ambiguity with curiosity and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience building cross-functional relationships.
