Form of workWe're looking for a Lead Planner to join our team based at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset.
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Some hybrid working is available, but you will need to be on the site weekly.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Lead Planner you'll have responsibility for our works at HPC and a team of planners.
Your day to day will include:
Management of a team of planners. You'll ensure that work is produced to a high quality and the right conversations are being had with the operational team.
Produce and review programmes for acceptance, impact programmes, weekly lookaheads, project controls dashboards, reports and programme narratives.
Analyse the project metrics, in particular rates of work to ensure key programme dates can be tracked with accuracy and displayed in the project dashboards.
Assist the commercial team to produce accurate forecasts to the end of the project, based on labour resource and materials forecasting.
Accurately resource load, level and maintain schedule resources in P6 environment, to support project management decisions on sequences of work.
What are we looking for?
This role of Lead Planner is great for you if:
- You will have UK, NEC contract based Planning experience.
You'll be familiar with working on multi-discipline, large scale infrastructure projects.
Must have 5 years + Planning experience.
Must be comfortable dealing directly with clients.
Must be confident to manage a team of planners.
