Form of workA Lead Azure Cloud Engineer is needed for a global and innovative organisation who are going through a global digital transformation. The business are market leaders in their industry and are investing heavily in technology to revolutionise their ways of working.
The Lead Azure Cloud Engineer will have technical leadership upon all matters cloud, with primary focus on Azure. The Leads Azure Cloud Engineer and the team will optimise the performance of the infrastructure estate, including the adoption of tools techniques and processes (with an emphasis on automation), transformation of traditional infrastructure services into cloud native PAAS. They will maintain high levels of security and cloud governance, build of development\staging environments, ensuring all cloud deployments follow best practices and well architected frameworks and providing technical support and guidance to project teams.
The Lead Azure Cloud Engineer will work with a team of two Junior Cloud Engineers and report into the Head of Infrastructure and Operations. They won't have line management responsibilities but will be mentoring and supporting the Junior members of the team.
Essential Skills
- 5+ Years Cloud experience (at least 2 years with Azure)
- Kubernetes - Enterprise Level
- Great communicator
