Lead C# Developer - Commodities Trading

Exciting opportunity for an experience senior developer to build on their experience in Commodities or Energy trading development role in this successful Commodities Trading company.

The role is a combination of technical leadership, hands on development (.NET C#), and mentoring. This varied role therefore suits someone who enjoys both hands-on coding but also interacting with different parts of an organisation and taking a lead on decision making.

Package: £140-170k p.a.

The Lead C# Developer will have significant prior experience as a Senior Software Engineer / Senior Developer or Lead working as C# Developer in a trading type environment where they will have gained knowledge of the full trade life-cycle and feel comfortable speak directly to traders and senior stakeholders in the business as well as senior technical colleagues such as architects.

There will be a variety of challenging and exciting new projects for the Development Lead to work on as the company continues to expand into new product areas including renewable energy trading and asset optimisation.

The company is in the process of moving to the cloud, so Azure Platform experience would be helpful.

Central London location, with Hybrid working expected. Loads of perks including Free Breakfast.

Core skills in C# and SQL Server are expected

Good knowledge of front-to-back trade life-cycle
