SalaryAstute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a leading management consultancy across the UK Nuclear industry to recruit an experienced Lead Consultant for the management and delivery of a variety of Defence Nuclear projects in Basingstoke. Working as the Lead Consultant, you will lead programme delivery and business growth, making a real impact on key infrastructure in the UK.
The Lead Consultant role comes with a salary of �60,000 - �85,000 dependant on experience as well as a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Senior Management Team you will:
* Work on a consultancy basis delivering projects, managing client relationships and developing business opportunities.
* Contribute to the creation and development of a 5-case business case.
* Engage with and influence all levels of Stakeholder.
* Be responsible for financial approvals and engage with HM Treasury and Scrutiny.
* Work to government guidelines including HMT Green and Aqua Books.
* Look to offer solutions and ideas for improvement where challenges arise.
* Any other duties as required.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* DV Clearence is essential for this role and must be current
* Experience engaging with HM Treasury and scrutiny
* Experience working to HMT Green and Aqua Books

* Experience in building relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
* Ability to identify and deliver on business development opportunities.
* A continuous improvement mindset, he ability to review processes and procedures and add value.
