Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
As an Electrical Engineer you will effectively manage Risk, safe systems of work and authorise Competent persons (CP’s), in accordance with Engineering policy and relevant standards.- Responsible for ensuring Equipment is provided in good condition and used correctly for work as necessary. Carry out routine inspections and follow up on necessary corrective actions.
- To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all escalated Electrical, Mechanical, building fabric related to reactive, planned maintenance and project issues. This includes specialist sub-contractor scheduled maintenance works, emergency call and project work.
Professional Qualifications and Experience required:
JIB Approved electrician- Experience with carrying out Electrical/ Mechanical assessment and the appointment process.
Experienced auditing Engineers and assessing contract/site requirements.
The position would ideally suit an established electrical bias engineer with Mechanical experience.
Working in a similar role for the last 5 years.
The ability to construct and implement safe systems of works.
Water systems knowledge
Experience issuing permits.
Previous experience working with Health Technical Memoranda (HTM) and other engineering guidelines SFG20
