SalaryWe are currently looking for a Tanker Driver To provide collection and transportation of waste locally often working alone and delivering to disposal locations. Supporting engineers to complete jetting, sucking, line cleaning, soakways, and pump station clean outs. Ensuring all activities are carried out in a professional and timely manner. To ensure that work is completed accurately, on time and to the agreed standards at Owls Hall.
Main responsibilities Include:
- Safely and efficiently operate vacuum tanker HGVs for drainage purposes.
- Keep the vehicle in a clean & roadworthy condition both internally & externally, performing basic maintenance and repairs.
- Perform required pre/post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety.
- Complete any required documentation for delivery and collection of waste with our handheld devices.
- Ensuring that customers receive the highest levels of customer service at all times.
- Being part of the OHEL emergency call-out rota.
- Complying with all health and safety requirements on site as detailed by the Site Manager or our clients.
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Safely and efficiently operating the vacuum tanker and jetter for drainage purposes.
- Ensuring The tanker and vacuum is operated to manufactures guidelines.
- To Keep the vehicle in a clean & roadworthy condition both internally & externally, performing basic maintenance and repairs.
- Ensuring all equipment is checked regularly and any defects reported accordingly.
- Complete any required documentation for delivery and collection of waste with our handheld devices.
- Being part of the Call out team and sharing the Rota to support our customers.
