Form of workWe are seeking a dynamic Senior Energy Management Consultant to lead our Contract Energy Management Services at a distinguished energy consultancy. Our firm is recognized for delivering Technical Services, Bureau, and Consultancy advice to a diverse portfolio of high-profile commercial clients. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our Consultancy team, focusing on the delivery of Decarbonisation, Compliance, and Energy Management services.
This position offers a blend of remote work and on-site presence at client locations. Therefore, the ideal candidate should be conveniently located within easy access of the East Midlands, South East, or East of England. As a seasoned professional, you should be adept at working independently, whether from home or the office, with a proven track record of successfully executing projects and demonstrating proficiency in client engagement, management, and the development of corporate-level carbon and energy strategies.
Your primary responsibility will involve supporting our clients in managing and reducing their energy consumption by gaining a comprehensive understanding of their buildings and processes. Whether your background is in building controls, process engineering, or consultancy, you should possess a strong track record in client engagement, report writing, and technical problem-solving. A solid understanding of building services, building management systems, energy management principles, and low carbon technologies is essential.
Your role will include conducting Energy Audits and site surveys to pinpoint wastage or efficiency improvements. You will be tasked with submitting formal reports to clients, outlining potential savings with justifications for your findings, along with calculations of likely costs and savings. Additionally, you will be actively involved in report writing, leading meetings, and making regular presentations.
In your leadership capacity, you will be expected to contribute to the growth of the business area and your team. This involves identifying recruitment needs based on successes, and overseeing ongoing training and development initiatives.
