MDE are hiring a Lead Engineer - Multidrive Systems to join a dynamic and innovative engineering firm that specializes in bespoke automation solutions for hevay indusrty. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer with specialized knowledge in Multidrive Systems to join our team. As the Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in [mention specific responsibilities, e.g., designing, testing, and optimizing Drive Systems for new or retrofit projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead a group of talented engineers to drive innovation and achieve project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of Drive Systems.
• Provide technical expertise in the evaluation, selection, and integration of drive components and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Drive Systems into larger projects.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of Drive Systems to ensure performance and reliability meet or exceed specifications.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in Drive Systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Minimum of BEng / BSE / Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Minimum of 7 years in a similar role
• Excellent understanding of electrical control systems
