If you are looking for a unique and rewarding opportunity to put your creative skills to good use, then we would like to hear from you!
About the role
We are seeking someone who can bring their creative skills to our Drawing Room enterprise. Our Enterprise projects are opportunities that provide a realistic working environment. The Drawing Room provides a unique opportunity for clients to develop new skills, confidence and self-expression through the medium of art.
As the lead for this area, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating a range of activities for our adult clients in line with their individual plans and outcomes. You will also work closely with our Education teams to organise sessions for the College and School learners which are in line with their curriculum pathways.
This busy and varied role means that you will also be actively involved in our events calendar attending various events both on and offsite throughout the year to maximise sales and promote the products made here at St Elizabeth’s!
About you
You will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team. Experience and a keen interest in Craft, Art and Jewellery making in a similar role is preferred, but a willingness to roll your sleeves up and get involved, combined with a genuine interest in the people that we support is essential. Experience using Photoshop or other technical programmes would also be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have a Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
Our benefits
In addition to excellent staff training, our employees are also rewarded with various other benefits offered as part of your employment:
  • 23 days’ annual leave per annum
  • Eligible for Blue Light card
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Employee Recognition Scheme – St Elizabeth’s acknowledges loyal and outstanding employees who go above and beyond in their role including our long service awards and employee PRAISE awards with gift cards and treats to enjoy
  • Life Assurance
  • Free on-site parking
  • Recommend a friend payment up to £500 (T&Cs apply)
  • Confidential employee assistance programme
  • Fully paid for DBS
  • Contributory pension scheme - eligible employees are automatically enrolled after 3 months at 5% (3% employer contribution)

How can you find out more?
To apply, please head over to our careers page on our website to complete an application form and upload an up to date CV. All offers are conditional and subject to receipt of satisfactory pre-employment checks and references including an enhanced DBS check.
Please note we are not on a public transport route. The salary range advertised is based on full-time equivalent and appointment on the scale is dependent on the role, qualifications and experience.
